chaise lounge — Frequently asked questions

What happens if the lift is too small for my chaise lounge?

A chaise lounge may fit in your room but still fail to fit into the HDB or condo lift. Ask the seller for the packed length, width, height, and weight, then compare these with the lift car doorway and diagonal clearance. A removable backrest can reduce the volume, but do not assume it is detachable unless stated. If the lift cannot take it, ask about a two-person carry, staircase delivery, or a return arrangement. Confirm whether delivery is completed to the unit door or room placement.

How long does delivery of a chaise lounge to Singapore usually take?

Delivery timing depends on stock, customisation, and the destination. As a planning guide, allow several working days for stock checks, 14 days for returns, and more time for a custom or made-to-order chaise. Singapore delivery to HDB flats and condos may also require lift booking or a delivery appointment, especially in Jurong East or large Tampines estates. Before paying, ask for the estimated dispatch date, the final delivery window, and whether GST is already included in the displayed Singapore dollar price.

Can I use a solid wood chaise lounge in a humid Singapore room?

Solid wood can work in Singapore, provided the chaise is finished, dry, and not exposed to constant dampness. Keep it away from balcony doors, condensation, and standing water, and wipe spills promptly. Humidity can cause minor surface movement without meaning the frame is defective. Choose a finish suited to daily use and follow the written care instructions. MIDHILL’s Foshan solid-wood furniture carries a 10-year structural warranty, but cleaning, standing water, direct heat, silicone polish, and abrasive products are excluded from warranty claims.

How should I clean the fabric on my chaise lounge?

Vacuum loose dust weekly using a soft upholstery attachment, then spot-clean with a mild product suitable for the fabric. Blot rather than rub, because vigorous rubbing can spread marks or damage the weave. Keep the chaise away from direct heat and standing water, and air it after use in humid weather. Do not use abrasive cleaners, high-pH cleaners, or silicone polish. A written cleaning instruction should accompany the order; if the fabric code is unclear, ask the seller before applying anything wet.

What should I check before ordering a chaise lounge for a condo?

Check the packed size, weight, lift booking rules, delivery path, and whether balcony-door or corridor access is restricted. Confirm whether the chaise will be delivered assembled or partly assembled and whether carrying beyond the unit door costs extra. For a Tampines, Bedok, Punggol, or Jurong condo, ask about loading bays and lift reservations. Also check the cushion dimensions, frame material, finish, GST treatment, return period, and warranty exclusions before placing the order.

Can I replace the cushion on a chaise lounge after it arrives?

Cushion replacement is easiest when the cover is removable and the foam is sold separately. Before ordering, ask whether the chaise has a zippered cover, which cushion dimensions fit, and whether replacement parts are available in Singapore. Keep the original care instructions for cleaning and warranty purposes. A cushion that has been repeatedly damp, stained with harsh chemicals, or damaged by direct heat may not qualify for a warranty claim. If your chaise is custom-made, confirm replacement availability before approving the order.

What is the difference between a left-facing and right-facing chaise lounge?

A left-facing chaise lounge has the longer section or backrest arranged for a person reclining facing left; a right-facing version reverses that orientation. Choose according to your wall, window, and the side you will approach from, not only according to a photograph. In a small HDB bedroom, make sure the open side does not block a door or narrow the walkway. Confirm the final orientation in writing before production, since turning the chaise after delivery may change the usable space.

How do I prevent the chaise lounge from looking too bulky?

Choose a slim armless chaise, a low back, and a light colour to reduce visual weight. Keep nearby pieces visually quiet: choose a low-profile rug, simple curtain fabric, and one clear lamp rather than several competing objects. Leave enough floor space around the chaise so it reads as a resting zone, not a crowd of furniture. For a compact Tampines bedroom, a 150–170 cm chaise with a removable cushion can be easier to balance than a broad, heavily padded model. Check dimensions before buying.

What are common chaise lounge styling mistakes in a small bedroom?

Common mistakes include choosing a chaise before measuring circulation space, placing it directly at the foot of the bed, and using too many contrasting cushions. A bulky model can make an HDB bedroom feel cramped, while a very dark finish can absorb light in a room without a window. Avoid blocking the door, air-conditioner outlet, and window ventilation. Choose a rug that extends beyond the chaise front, one task lamp, and removable covers suited to Singapore’s humid tropical climate.

How do I know if a chaise lounge will arrive without swirl marks?

Ask what finish will be supplied and request photos of the actual batch before dispatch. Some wood or lacquer surfaces can show swirl marks because of the finishing sequence, even when the material is new. Do not assume silicone polish or abrasive rubbing is the correct remedy; those actions can damage the surface and affect warranty coverage. A written cleaning instruction should be included. Keep delivery notes and inspect the chaise in good light, recording any damage or finish issue before accepting it.

Can a chaise lounge be moved easily for cleaning?

Movement depends on its weight and whether the frame is fixed or has a lift-up storage section. A compact chaise may be moved by two people, but a solid-wood frame can still be heavy and awkward around HDB doors. Measure the handles, lift door, corridor turns, and room threshold before moving it. Avoid dragging the frame across vinyl or tiled floors because the base can scratch or tear. If the chaise has a detachable cushion, remove it first to reduce bulk.

What does the 14-day return period mean for a chaise lounge?

A 14-day return period normally gives you time to inspect the chaise for condition and suitability after delivery, but check the exact seller terms for eligibility. Used, modified, or damaged furniture may not qualify, and custom dimensions can be excluded. Confirm whether you must keep the original packaging, avoid removing the protective cover, and arrange return transport safely. In Singapore HDB flats, return moving costs may be your responsibility. Read the warranty separately: the structural warranty lasts 10 years, while surface coverage is 2 years.

What information should I request before ordering a custom chaise lounge?

Request the final dimension drawing, packed size, weight, frame material, finish, cushion details, delivery lead time, and return conditions. Ask whether the chaise is made to a fixed size or customised for your room, and whether changes after approval affect the price or timeline. For Singapore delivery, include your HDB or condo lift dimensions and any corridor turns. MIDHILL buyers can ask for dated batch inspection records and production photos for their own order, and the Foshan showroom requires appointments.

How do I compare chaise lounge listings in Singapore fairly?

Compare chaise lounge listings using the same details: overall dimensions, packed dimensions, weight, frame material, cushion type, finish, warranty, GST treatment, and delivery terms. A cheap listing may exclude lift delivery or require self-collection; a higher Singapore dollar price may include carrying and placement. Ask for a full written quotation before ordering. In humid Singapore conditions, removable covers, moisture-conscious materials, and clear care instructions are useful. Do not compare only product photographs, since colour and scale can be misleading.

I’m searching “modern chaise lounge malaysia” but need delivery in Singapore—where can I get one?

MIDHILL is a practical option because it operates its Foshan workshop directly and exports to more than 15 countries, including Singapore. Its modern chaise lounge designs can suit both HDB living rooms and condos in Tampines, Bedok, Punggol or Jurong. Ask for the Singapore-inclusive price, delivery window and packed dimensions before ordering. GST at 9% may apply to the displayed subtotal. MIDHILL’s shortlist evaluation takes two working days, while a detailed specification takes five working days.

Can you give me a chaise lounge singapore guide for choosing the right size and finish?

Start by measuring the intended space, including the reclined length, doorway, corridor and lift dimensions. A chaise lounge that fits the room visually may still be difficult to move upstairs in an HDB block. MIDHILL can produce a specification based on your measurements, with its Foshan process using nitrocellulose lacquer, cross-linked polyurethane or polyester depending on the selected chaise lounge. Its shortlist process takes two working days; a complete specification takes five. Request the final dimensions before confirming delivery.

What is the difference between a chaise lounge vs solid wood construction?

“Chaise lounge” describes the furniture type, while “solid wood” describes part of its construction, so the two are not direct alternatives. A chaise lounge may combine a solid-wood frame with upholstered cushioning, or use an all-wood structure. Check whether the frame, joints and load-bearing sections are solid wood rather than relying on the product name. In Singapore’s humid tropical climate, finish choice, ventilation and moisture-conscious care matter. Ask the seller to identify each material and provide a written cleaning guide.

Will a chaise lounge fit through the lift and corridor in my Tampines HDB flat?

It will fit only if the packed carton—not just the bare chaise lounge—clears every restriction. Measure the lift door, lift depth, corridor width, corners and stair landing, then compare them with the supplier’s packed dimensions. Many HDB lift openings are roughly 800–900 mm wide, but you should rely on your block’s measurements. Record the carton length and gross weight too. If the lift is unsuitable, the seller should assess a carry-up alternative before confirming delivery to Tampines or Bedok.

How do I know if a chaise lounge can fit into my Jurong condo lift?

Ask for the packed chaise lounge dimensions and gross weight before paying the balance. Include the lift’s internal width, depth, door opening and the distance from the loading area to your unit. Condo service lifts often have booking rules, protective padding requirements and restrictions during moving hours, which the building management may impose. Photograph the access route if necessary. Allow the chaise lounge carton to remain protected during the move and avoid tilting it if the finish or upholstery could be damaged.

How much does chaise lounge delivery to Punggol cost, and is GST included?

Delivery cost depends on the packed size, weight, access route and whether the supplier delivers to the unit or only to the lobby. For planning, request a 7–14 working-day delivery estimate, then rely only on the seller’s confirmed slot. Singapore GST is 9%; for example, a S$1,000 subtotal adds S$90 GST before any delivery charge. The supplier should state clearly whether the quoted figure is a subtotal or GST-inclusive. For HDB deliveries, provide the floor and lift details so stairs or carry-up fees are not added later.

Does a chaise lounge need assembly after it reaches my Singapore home?

Ask whether the chaise lounge arrives fully assembled or needs leg attachment, cushion fastening or minor adjustment. Some designs need only a few bolts, while others are delivered ready for use. Confirm in writing so you are not expecting installation on the delivery day. If assembly is required, check that the included tools and instructions are packed with the carton. After positioning, tighten fittings evenly and keep the product away from direct air-conditioning airflow, which can cause condensation in Singapore’s humid tropical climate.

How should I clean the cushion and frame of a chaise lounge?

Use a written cleaning instruction supplied with the chaise lounge, because cleaning methods differ between nitrocellulose lacquer, cross-linked polyurethane and polyester surfaces. Vacuum upholstery gently and blot spills rather than rubbing them. Avoid abrasive cleaners, high-pH products and silicone polish, as these can cause warranty claims to be rejected. Do not leave standing water around cushion edges. Wipe wooden sections with a lightly damp cloth and dry them promptly. In humid tropical conditions, also inspect under cushions periodically and maintain airflow around the frame.

Is a solid-wood chaise lounge suitable for Singapore’s humid climate?

A solid-wood chaise lounge can work in Singapore when its finish and joints are suitable for humid tropical conditions. Keep it away from persistent moisture, direct rain and air-conditioning condensation, and use coasters or mats if drinks may be placed nearby. Lacquered or cross-linked polyurethane surfaces should be wiped clean rather than exposed to standing water. Inspect joints periodically for movement. Ask the supplier for the exact finish, care instructions and warranty terms so maintenance does not unintentionally affect your coverage.

Should I get a polyester or velvet chaise lounge for a humid Singapore condo?

Polyester is usually easier to maintain in a humid tropical home because marks can often be blotted and the surface wiped more readily, although the supplied care guide remains decisive. Velvet may feel luxurious but can show pressure marks, dust and colour changes more visibly, especially near windows. Place either chaise lounge away from prolonged direct sunlight and damp walls. Check cushion removal, filling and cleaning instructions before ordering. For a condo in Jurong or Punggol, request care advice based on air-conditioning use and daily humidity.

What style of chaise lounge suits a modern Malaysian condo living room?

A low-profile chaise lounge with clean lines works well in a modern Malaysian condo, especially against warm timber, neutral walls and textured fabrics. Choose oatmeal, sand, taupe or another light neutral, then add one accent cushion in deep teal or forest green. Avoid matching every element to the same brown tone, as the room can feel visually heavy. Keep at least 45–60 cm of circulation space around the chaise lounge where possible, and coordinate it with existing curtains, lighting and wall colours.

How can I style a chaise lounge for a Japandi-style bedroom?

For Japandi styling, choose a chaise lounge with a simple silhouette, pale wood or a warm matte finish, and a restrained oatmeal or greige cushion. Pair it with off-white walls, a low platform bed and a woven rug in beige or muted charcoal. A slim paper lantern or a simple floor lamp provides softer light without competing with the furniture. Keep accessories limited to one cushion and a small plant. The goal is balanced negative space, so avoid placing several patterned textiles beside the chaise lounge.

Does a chaise lounge fit a Korean minimal home office?

Yes, provided the colour and footprint support the restrained Korean minimal look. Choose a chaise lounge in cream, light grey or pale natural wood, then use a single matching cushion and hide cables and everyday items. Keep the surrounding area uncluttered and position the chaise lounge away from a busy desk corner. A slim black floor lamp can add definition without visual weight. Check the extended length and walking clearance before ordering, especially if the home office is also used for guest seating in a compact Singapore condo.

Which chaise lounge colour works best in a Scandinavian-style Singapore living room?

A light-oak chaise lounge with white, pale grey or soft beige upholstery blends naturally with Scandinavian styling. Add one textile accent in muted blue, sage or dusty pink rather than using several bright colours. A large neutral rug will visually connect the chaise lounge with the seating area, while sheer curtains keep the room bright. Avoid very dark leather in this palette because Singapore humidity and strong sunlight can make it look visually heavy. For a Punggol HDB living room, light colours also help the area feel less confined.

What rug size should I choose under a chaise lounge?

Choose a rug large enough for at least the front legs of any nearby seating to rest on it, not just a small mat beneath the chaise lounge. If the chaise lounge shares the area with a sofa, the rug should ideally extend beyond both pieces so they feel connected. In Singapore, use a low-pile washable option and place it on a clean, dry floor. Avoid a rug so large that it blocks HDB lift or corridor access. For a compact Bedok flat, a correctly proportioned rug can make the grouping look intentional without crowding the walkway.

What floor lamp goes best with a chaise lounge beside a sofa?

Choose a slim floor lamp with a shade that casts soft light over the chaise lounge rather than directly into a seated person’s eyes. A warm-neutral finish, around 1.5–1.8 m tall, usually works beside a standard chaise lounge, but confirm the sofa height and shade clearance. Place the lamp behind the chaise lounge or at its outer corner to leave the main circulation path open. In a humid tropical home, use a stable base and avoid positioning fabric shades where they can be splashed or touched with damp hands.

Which cushions and plants should I add to a neutral chaise lounge?

Two or three coordinated cushions are enough: one in the chaise lounge’s upholstery colour for support, one in a warmer accent and one smaller lumbar cushion for shape. For plants, choose a compact variety such as sansevieria, ZZ plant or pothos that suits the available light. Keep the pot on a waterproof tray and away from the upholstery. Avoid overcrowding the chaise lounge’s arm area, especially in an HDB living room. Match the plant pot and cushion colours to existing curtains or artwork instead of adding many competing patterns.

What are common styling mistakes when placing a chaise lounge in a Singapore living room?

Common mistakes include blocking the main walkway, choosing a chaise lounge that is too large for the room and combining too many competing patterns. Avoid pushing it tightly against curtains, where fabric can crease or transfer colour. Do not place it beneath an air-conditioning vent; condensation can affect the upholstery and frame. Keep the unit away from direct afternoon sun and allow ventilation in humid conditions. A rug should unify the seating group without creating a trip edge, while the chaise lounge’s colour should echo at least one other item in the room.

Can I visit a chaise lounge showroom before ordering in Singapore?

MIDHILL’s Lecong showroom operates by appointment rather than as a casual walk-in destination. Buyers normally arrive with a shortlist and measurements; evaluation takes two working days, while a detailed chaise lounge specification takes five working days. Buyers who arrive with measurements leave with a specification. Because the showroom is in Foshan, confirm whether the visit, shipping and Singapore delivery are included in the quotation. For remote buyers, request dimension drawings, finish details and photos so the selection process remains clear.

How can I check the quality of a chaise lounge before it ships from the factory?

Request the factory’s actual inspection evidence for your order rather than relying on general product photographs. MIDHILL’s production passes through multi-stage inspection supported by dated batch records, and a buyer can request the relevant records and photographs for their own chaise lounge. These should help verify the batch, finish and construction before dispatch. Export crates are engineered for compression stacking, racking, edge impact and point loads, while mould control uses low-moisture crate timber, desiccant matched to cargo volume and a vapour barrier.

What does the MIDHILL warranty cover for my chaise lounge?

MIDHILL provides a 10-year structural warranty, a two-year surface warranty and lifetime refinishing. Structural coverage addresses the main construction of the chaise lounge; surface coverage applies to its finish, while refinishing covers restoration needs. Damage caused by cleaning rather than use may not be covered, including abrasive or high-pH cleaners, silicone polish, standing water on edges and direct heat. Keep the supplied cleaning instructions with the order. If damage appears, document it with photographs and the order number before arranging an after-sales review.

What size chaise lounge do I need for a Singapore living room?

Most Singapore living rooms fit a chaise lounge about 80–90 cm wide and 160–180 cm long, but measure your usable space before ordering. Leave at least 60 cm for circulation, and check the route through the HDB flat door, lift and corridor. A chaise lounge for a compact Tampines or Punggol unit should usually be under 170 cm long; a Jurong condo with open-plan space can handle 180 cm. Confirm the packed dimensions too, especially if delivery must turn at a landing or pass through a narrower doorway.

Where can I find an American sintered stone chaise lounge in Singapore?

Search for an American sintered stone chaise lounge when you want a low-maintenance surface for a modern condo or HDB living room. Sintered stone is dense and non-porous, but the chaise lounge still needs proper edge and joint care in humid tropical weather. Ask the seller for exact dimensions, weight and material certificates rather than relying on the word “American.” Confirm delivery access through HDB lifts and corridors, especially in older blocks. A padded corner and stable base are useful if children or pets are nearby, while a warm wood or cream cushion softens the stone finish.

Does a Nordic marble chaise lounge suit a small HDB flat?

A Nordic marble chaise lounge can suit a compact Singapore HDB flat if its proportions remain restrained and its colour is light. Look for a width around 80 cm and length around 160–170 cm, then measure the route from the lift to your living room. A cream, beige or pale grey marble-look finish pairs naturally with light oak, linen curtains and simple greenery. In humid tropical conditions, keep the chaise lounge away from open windows and rain exposure, and clean the surface regularly. Avoid placing it where a corridor turn prevents the door or lift from opening fully.

How long does delivery of a chaise lounge usually take in Singapore?

Local delivery timing depends on stock, fabrication and access at your building. A ready-made chaise lounge may arrive within 3–7 working days, while a customised size or finish can take longer, commonly 14–30 days after approval. Confirm whether the quoted Singapore price includes GST, delivery, carrying and installation; GST applies at the prevailing rate to taxable supplies. For HDB flats, provide the block, floor and lift dimensions because a compact chaise lounge can still be difficult to manoeuvre through a narrow corridor. Condo delivery may require a loading-bay booking or security approval.

How heavy is a chaise lounge when it arrives in Singapore?

Weight varies with the frame, upholstery and finish, so check the listed specifications rather than estimating from appearance. A compact solid-wood chaise lounge may weigh roughly 35–60 kg, while a broad stone-look or reinforced model can weigh more. Ask for the packed weight and whether delivery is curbside, room-of-choice or lift-to-room. This matters for HDB flats in Bedok, Tampines and Punggol, where residents must manage corridors, thresholds and landings. Do not attempt to lift it alone; reserve enough people, clear the route, and confirm whether the supplier provides in-room placement.

What upholstery works best for a humid climate chaise lounge?

For Singapore’s humid tropical climate, choose a chaise lounge with tightly woven synthetic fabric, removable covers or a finish that can be wiped clean. Polyester and cross-linked polyurethane can be practical options, but ask for the exact cleaning instructions and whether the cover is washable. Keep the chaise lounge away from open windows, balcony spray and standing water, and air it after use. A solid or sintered stone surface may suit humid rooms, while natural marble or untreated wood should be protected carefully. Avoid high-pH cleaners and silicone polish, which can damage the surface or cause warranty issues.

Will a chaise lounge fade in a Jurong condo living room?

Fading depends on the finish, light exposure and cleaning routine, not only the interior style. For a Jurong condo living room, position the chaise lounge away from a large west-facing window or use curtains that block strong afternoon sun. Synthetic polyester upholstery may be easier to maintain than some natural fabrics, but the supplier’s care instructions should take priority. Rotate cushions where practical and clean spills promptly. Humid air and reflected light can still affect fabric and wood finishes, so avoid leaving the chaise lounge in direct sunlight for long periods. Ask whether the surface has a two-year finish warranty.

Can I put a chaise lounge on vinyl flooring in an HDB flat?

Yes, a chaise lounge can sit on vinyl flooring, especially in a HDB flat where the surface is easy to clean. Place protective felt pads or a suitable floor mat under the legs, and check them periodically because uneven pressure can leave marks. In humid tropical conditions, moisture trapped beneath the chaise lounge should be wiped away during cleaning. Avoid dragging the frame across the vinyl, as the legs or stone-look edges may scratch it. If the chaise lounge is very heavy, distribute the load evenly and do not slide it without at least two people. Follow the supplier’s cleaning guidance.

How do I match a chaise lounge to Japandi décor?

For Japandi décor, choose a chaise lounge with simple lines, a light-oak or warm-neutral frame and a pale beige or grey cushion. Keep the surrounding scheme calm: use an off-white wall, a cream low-pile rug and a black or dark-brown floor lamp. Avoid too many separate patterns, since a patterned chaise lounge can make a small Tampines HDB living room feel busier. A plant such as a snake plant or rubber plant adds natural texture without requiring a large table. Measure the chaise lounge and rug so the rug extends 30–45 cm beyond it, and leave practical walking space in the room.

What colours work with a Korean minimal chaise lounge?

A Korean minimal room usually suits a chaise lounge in white, cream, pale grey, black or soft beige. Choose one main neutral and repeat it in the curtains, rug or wall rather than adding many accent colours. For a Punggol HDB living room, a light neutral chaise lounge can make the space feel larger; for a larger Jurong condo, charcoal may create a sharper contrast. Add one controlled accent through a cushion or artwork. Keep the floor lamp simple and avoid ornate finishes that compete with the chaise lounge. Check the product’s actual finish under daylight before ordering.

Should I put a rug under my chaise lounge?

A rug can define the chaise lounge as a reading or relaxation zone, but it must be large enough to support it comfortably. Ideally, the rug should extend 30–45 cm beyond the chaise lounge on the visible sides, and the furniture legs should sit securely on it. Choose a low-pile rug for easier cleaning in humid Singapore conditions, especially in HDB flats where the lounge receives regular foot traffic. A neutral rug works with beige, grey or wood finishes; a patterned rug can overwhelm a compact unit. Avoid placing a loose rug beside a corridor where it could become a trip hazard.

How can I stop cushions from moving on a chaise lounge?

Cushion movement is usually caused by a smooth seat surface, frequent use or a slope, so choose a chaise lounge with fitted cushions, ties, elastic edging or a non-slip base. Ask the supplier whether the cover is removable and whether replacement cushions are available. In humid tropical conditions, wash or air the cushion regularly and remove it before cleaning the frame. Avoid placing loose objects between the cushion and seat, as they can shift the fill. For a HDB flat, keep the chaise lounge away from busy circulation routes, and for a condo, consider a fitted rug beneath the legs so the whole piece stays stable.

How do I protect a chaise lounge from spills and humidity?

Use a removable washable cover or a fitted protector if you expect everyday drinks, children or pets. Wipe spills promptly with a soft cloth, then follow the supplied cleaning instructions; do not use abrasive cleaners, high-pH products, silicone polish or standing water. Keep the chaise lounge away from open windows, air-conditioner vents that create persistent dampness and balcony doors during heavy rain. In Singapore’s humid tropical climate, allow the cushion and frame to dry fully after cleaning. A breathable cover is better than a non-breathable plastic sheet, which can trap moisture.

Can I customise the size of a chaise lounge for my condo?

Customisation is possible when the measurement is agreed before production, but check the resulting weight, finish and delivery limits. For a Jurong or Tampines condo, provide the room dimensions, lift opening and corridor route; a custom chaise lounge should not be wider than the accessible route unless the supplier has assessed it. Ask for a written specification showing the final size, materials, cushion details and price in Singapore dollars. Allow extra production time, often around 14–30 days after approval. MIDHILL can discuss specifications through its Foshan showroom appointment, with a 10-year structural warranty.

How do I stop a stone chaise lounge from looking scratched after delivery?

Ask how the stone or marble-look surface is protected during shipping. A well-designed export crate uses padded vertical slots, a rigid base and barriers so the polished face does not touch another surface. Inspect the package on arrival and photograph the chaise lounge before removing all protective material. Do not use silicone polish, abrasive pads or harsh chemicals to remove marks; the documented finishing sequence uses progressive abrasion, felt-block pasting and buffing to reduce swirl marks. Keep lifting pads under the base when moving it, especially in a HDB corridor, and report damage before assembly.
